ISTMA MET IN THE USA TO PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE REGION

To promote ISTMA and its activities in USA, ISTMA Americas with support from its Global Partner NIMS - National Institute for Metalworking Skills organized a meeting in Washington DC attended by its member Associations from Mexico (AMMMT), Brazil (ABINFER - Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Ferramentais - Brazilian Tooling Industry Association) and Canada (CTMA) plus invited guests from the USA: National Association of Manufacturers - NAM, AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology and North American Die Casting Association.

This initiative was also supported by ISTMA World President (Bob Williamson) and Secretariat (Manuel Oliveira). Tapiwa Samanga (Production Technologies Association of South Africa (PtSA) from South Africa was also an observer and will be the promoter of similar work on the African continent.
