ISTMA MEMBERS COLLABORATION: SWISSMEM IN PORTUGAL AND CEFAMOL IN FINLAND

In early September, CEFAMOL (the Portuguese Mouldmaking Association) hosted a delegation from SWISSMEM, a Swiss member of ISTMA. The primary objective of this visit was to exchange knowledge and best practices, as well as discuss the challenges facing the mouldmaking sector in the global market. The Swiss representatives toured several Portuguese companies, gaining insight into their production processes and the high quality of products manufactured in Portugal. The meetings and networking sessions aimed to foster closer relationships between businesses from both countries, paving the way for future collaborations and partnerships.

Later in September, CEFAMOL and the Technology Industries of Finland joined forces to organize a visit for Portuguese companies to Finland. The Portuguese delegation had the opportunity to visit Finnish companies, learning about local practices, innovations, and potential areas for collaboration within the mouldmaking industry. These meetings were instrumental in strengthening industrial ties between Portugal and Finland, promoting international cooperation and shared growth for companies in both countries.

Both visits highlight the importance of international collaboration and the potential for growth through the exchange of knowledge and experience. ISTMA is certainly a key element for it!
