The upcoming ISTMA Europe Meeting, hosted by VDMA with the support of WBA, will take place on November 13th and 14th in Aachen, Germany. This gathering will focus on the current economic landscape of the European tool-making industry and the essential political measures needed to support its growth and sustainability.
A key highlight of the agenda is the presentation of the ISTMA Europe Position Paper, which outlines the economic challenges facing the industry and proposes strategic policy recommendations. The meeting will also cover recent and upcoming activities at the EU level, including the IX European Tooling Forum to be held early 2025 in Brussels and engagements with EU institutions to further advocate for the sector's needs.
This event provides an essential platform for stakeholders to discuss the future of tool-making in Europe and to collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing the industry's resilience and competitiveness within the global market.
Delegates will also have the chance to attend EIP Awards Ceremony at Coronation Hall of Aachen Town Hall and the 23rd International Colloquium "Toolmaking with Future" organised by WBA.
