The Portuguese Mouldmaking Association (CEFAMOL) hosted the visit of Technology Industries of Finland delegates to Portugal. The program included the seminar "Portugal-Finland: cooperation and business", organized by both associations, and meetings with local companies.
Kai Syrjala, representative of the Finnish association, explained that these initiatives, developed under ISTMA umbrella, are putting together companies from both countries to explore collaboration and business opportunities. According to him "Portugal it's a supplier of excellence in the mouldmaking sector" and, therefore, he hopes this visit will results in a closer business relationship that may result in good business in the future.
Manuel Oliveira, secretary-general of CEFAMOL, introduced to Finnish delegates the Portuguese mouldmaking industry, its representativeness on a global level and its commercial relationships with Finland. In his opinion, this initiative shows that there is an interest for business and cooperation that is expected to growth in the future.
Besides the seminar, the Finnish representatives held bilateral meetings with Portuguese companies, having also the opportunity to visit several mouldmakers, both in Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis regions.
