In a press release issued on March 30, Molding Expo declared that the fair scheduled for June of this year will not be held, being announced the Day of Virtual Innovation, as a first measure geared towards Molding Expo 2023.
The fair's advisory board, promoters and sponsors spoke out against the holding of the professional fair in June 2021, as they believed that the risk for all participants, in the current pandemic context, would be too high.
However, the organizers of the event are preparing the Virtual Innovation Day, to be held on June 10, 2021, to make the highlights from the planned accompanying and talk programme in 2021 internationally accessible at no cost despite the cancellation of the physical trade fair. The organization will take place in coordination and with the support of the fair's partner entities. Soon, more information and a detailed program will be released.
The next regular Molding Expo will take place, according to the rotation schedule, between 13 and 16 June 2023, at Messe Stuttgart.
