ISTMA EUROPE MEETING AND MOULDING EXPO INTERNATIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE TOOK PLACE IN PORTUGAL

Marinha Grande, one of the two main centers for the Portuguese Mouldmaking Industry was the chosen location for the latest ISTMA Europe meeting, held in combination with the 'Moulding Expo' 2017 International Press Conference. Both events took place on March 7 and 8, 2017, organized in close cooperation with CEFAMOL - the Portuguese National Association.

ISTMA Europe reunion was attended by 23 people, representing 8 member countries (Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland and Turkey) plus two Global Partners (DMG MORI and HRSflow) and CECIMO – European Association of Machine Tool Industries as invited guest. Also, the German Association VDWF attended social events and plant tours.

The meeting was combined with the organization of the International Press Conference of Moulding Expo 2017 show, joining over 100 people among journalists, ISTMA National Association representatives, organizers and event sponsors.

Press Conference allowed attendees to get updated with show latest news and figures – 700 exhibitors are expected on the most important Tooling Industry show in Europe – inside information about ISTMA, its goals, activities and outputs as well as a presentation about the Portuguese Mouldmaking Industry, its development and international positioning.
